Tourism in Oreini

The region of Oreini extends between five summits and is crossed by four rivers that spill into the valley of Aghioi Anargyroi. It covers an area of 8500 hectares, including the forest of Lailias. The mountains of Oreini and the forest of Lailias are ideal for camping, winter sports, photography, hiking, trekking and mountain bike in the hiking trail E6. It is also worth visiting the region of Banitsa, where you can see the preserved monument of an old bell tower. Three stone-made bridges define the river of Banitsa. You can also visit the old Roman fortress and necropolis, two important archaeological sites in the region.
